Diana Bennet is the Executive Chef of Macaroon Restaurant where she oversees preparation and presentation for all meetings, banquets, weddings and events. All the art’s culinary food expertise and commitment to excellence makes Macaroon the best kept secret in town.
Born in New York, Diana came to the restaurant in her early teens to join her mother. After serving in the U.S. Army, she worked at various kitchen jobs and earned her apprenticeship as a cook through a Department of Labor program. In the late ’70s, she worked as a dishwasher at new restaurant. Asked about this her answer was, “It’s all a matter of organization.”
